briones adventure

quite a posse gathered the weekend 'fore last: headed out through briones for some mixed terrain madness from the south to the north end of the park and a bit of the three bears loop on our way back home through alhambra valley rd as the connection.

the ride was punctuated by my freewheel jamming completely in the middle of briones--hard to ride a fixed gear offroad when you can't put weight on the pedals. forced pedaling all the way home. i ride way more than i maintain or clean.

looking close you can see justin, of post-car press, is throwing them the biker handlebared-rested wave.

lots of wildflowers out along alhambra valley and the bears loop

behind on this blog and in a bit of pain from an inflammation 'round my sciatic nerve: both i think due to spending 30-40 hours at a time crouched over my drafting table to finish my work. masochism is only fun for so long: going to avoid repeating that mistake in the future and slowly recovering. good things. stay tuned: it's summer!

I haven't commented in a while, but I'm still following along. Great photos as always. I love all the wildflowers! I do the biker wave thing sometimes. It's rarely returned, unfortunately.
