after descending diablo, I commuted through west contra costa, redwood park, and finally down 38th ave to my desk in fruitvale.
I flew home to celebrate the wedding of close friends, and did some riding while I was out there thanks to a loaned bicycle. david's bombadil with hetres

I went to speak against parking limit decreases. There were but two of us, but it was a might as well say something moment. It was picked up by abetteroakland.com and I figured I'd share. This post is not a typical photo-heavy one. Parking policy should be part of active transportation advocacy and so I'm posting it just like the photos (which are often similar in intention).
memorial presented a chance to share a tour amongst friends, so off we went for an adventure through half moon bay, butano, and big basin. climbing out of pacifica along old san pedro mountain rd, climactic setting for planet of the apes filming and a wonderful excuse not to ride devil's slide in favor of scenic beauty
