after this giant sequoia encounter, we pointed our bikes onto dirt roads and trails that would take us from 7500 feet to 750, in the midst of kings canyon. about as epic as it comes (it's also easier to take photos on days that aren't 10000+ft of climbing across 100 miles of 90 degree weather).
