birds of prey overhead. not captured was the flight of a bald eagle directly overhead and 15 ft away. same for the low altitude flight of a military jet the night before.

sonoma (3/3)

day 3 was a grueling ride down hwy 1, into strong pacific headwinds in the midst of a storm. in the lowest gear on the flats, getting spun in circles, generally nasty weather. visibility was about 50ft or less. it was emboldening to the spirit, while soaking wet and exhausting.

after a day without photos, i opted to take a series during a hike in the woods and leave the camera in the bag thereafter.
